Honorable members of MUNRFE!

We are glad to inform you that team of 4 delegates (Marina Raschepkina, Kseniya Sukhotina, Andrey Kozinets and Catherine Vognerubova) and Daria Bulatova as an advisor sucessfully took part in the Aisian International Model United Nations (AIMUN), which was held in the city of Beijing, 23-27th of March.

This Conference is the biggest one in mainland China. This year it gathered 539 from 100 universities from such countries as China, Singapore, Pakistan, Shri-Lanka, Ghana, Senegal, Nigeria, Germany, United States and Great Britain.

Despite the great difference in debates procedures (e.g. abscense of points of inquiry and short comments) delegates from MUNRFE were on a highl level and we want to mentoin especially Kseniya Sukhotina who got the award of distinguished delegate representing Nepal in UNEP.

During the Conference team from Model United Nations of the Russian Far East also did a great promotion of MUNRFE activities such as X International Conference in 2011 and plans for conduction of the APEC Youth Summit in 2012. Delegates, especailly from People's Republic China, expressed a great interest in participation in project in the Russian Far East.

After the AIMUN Conference itself, MUNRFE members took part in round table organized by "Russkij Mir" Fund in the Beijing University of Foreign Languages. During the meeting we cultural aspects of both countries, students life in China and Russia and moreover, opportunity for Chinese students to continue their education in new Far Eastern Federal University.

It was a great honor for the team to represent Model United Nations of the Russian Far East at AIMUN. We hope the results shown and new contacts established would lead to tangible and fruitful results for the welfare of MUNRFE's future projects and fo the future of the whole organization.
