| The Tigers' Day in Vladivostok! |
|
On 27th of September traditional far eastern holiday - The Tiger’s Day took place in Vladivostok. Probably it was the most grandiose Tiger’s day festival ever. It’s no wonder, cause’ the festival had been organized by two large animals protection funds: “The Phoenix Fund” and “IFAW”. This day gathered many absolutely different people, students from all the youth organizations of Vladivostok, several school teams, a lot of small children dressed like tigers and, of course… MUNRFE members!
Eight brave guys gathered near the “Pokrovsky Park” and had a wonderful walk from there to the central square being a part of large white-orange crowd. It’s excellent that now no large event of the city can be held without MUNRFE's participation.
Everybody got a lot of fun, people were crying H-U-R-A-H-H and SAVE THE TIGERS. The bright festival column stopped near the central square where participants of children organizations were performing. Even the rain couldn’t erase the smiles from people’s faces. It was one of the best ways of spending dull Sunday morning. Thank you guys for being there and representing MUNRFE as a social and active organization!
