XIX MUNRFE Presidents Council |

The XIX MUNRFE Pres. Council took place in Vladivostok, 1-3 of July.
For the first time for the last 2 years the Council was held in 3 instead of 2 days which gave all the participants more time in order to discuss all the issues in detailed properties. For the first time in a while MUNRFE Founder Jeffrey Lindstrom took part in Pres. Council and contributed a lot to the productivness of the Council through asking catchy questions and making wise remarks and comments.
Also for the first time the incorporator of Non-Ptofit Making Partnership “MUNRFE” T.A. Gubaidulina took part in such important project for Model United Nations of the Russian Far East.

Shared Mental Models of Leadership |

The summer is blossoming; bringing us myriads of pleasant minutes of rest and blissful idleness, it releases us from usual obligations during the academic year and the necessity to work hard. However, some MUNers decided to sacrifice one week of their deserved relaxation for spending it for their own good.
Lasting from the 16th to the 23rd of March, it was devoted to the first part of the Advanced Leadership School “Shared Mental Models of Leadership”, conducted by Jeffrey Lindstrom, Ph.D., the founder of the Model United Nations of the Russian Far East.

After all the preparations, sending tens of invitations, hard negotiations and brainstorming, the most significant event of this summer happened! On the 28th of June MUNRFE Alumni Reunion took place and gathered more than twenty participants! The decision to conduct the Reunion in Vladivostok was made at XVIII President Council and fully proved its value. Vladivostok club welcomed its distinguished guests warmly and hospitably in a cozy restaurant with nice Asian atmosphere. But it was not the greatest delight of that evening. The guests, of course, were the most important part of this event and constitute what MUNRFE definitely can be proud of. Names of Roman Kopko, Ekaterina Baranova, Sergey Koval, Evgeney Bugrov, Ekaterina Kramarenko you do not hear very often now, but these people are those who were creating the history of the Organization and once devoted their student years to MUN like we continue doing it now. The most outstanding guest there was the Founder himself.

Dear future participants of APEC Youth Summit 2010
See the updates on Summit preparation process:
1) The Countries’ Chart is updated! (http://www.munrfe.ru/images/APEC/countries%20chart_new.xls)
So, if you are going to apply for a participation, please, while fulfilling the preference of countries you want to represent, look the chart to know whether this or that country is free or already taken.
2) You have a unique chance to make a research paper during your preparation to the summit and to have it published in one of the famous collection of research papers on the Russian Far East. It will be a good experience and bonus for you in your future studying and career.
3) You have time till 10th of April to apply for participation. Don’t miss your chance.
