It's MUNRFE, baby, or The end of the AMC' 2012 in Vladivostok
Friday, 30 November 2012 17:01

When I came at home at 10 p.m. from MC my neighbors asked me:

- What happened to you?

-It is MUNRFE, baby

45 people received the certificates “for successful completion of AMC “Imagine. Believe. Go”. Unfortunately, only 70% of participants have received their hard-achieved documents, but these very people have demonstrated the excellence in... Each MUNer knows, in what.

17 lectures, several trainings, cinema club sessions, 10 teams are the key indices of the project lyrically named “Imagine. Believe. Go”. But as the project name had a metaphorical character, its core rate is impossible to describe by numbers because this indicator is feeling. The feeling that the club really “inspires youth to lead and help them to make the first steps”. The feeling that the mission of the organization is followed in spite of various difficulties is more important than mathematically proved efficiency.

The culmination of the project, the mini-conference, showed it clearly. The number of delegates from Vladivostok and Fokino reached 59, but it was less remarkable than warm applauses on the plenary session which lasted for several minutes.

The end of the AMC'2012 in Khabarovsk
Tuesday, 27 November 2012 18:26

The Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club is really proud of success that was achieved throughout the Autumn Master-Classes 2012. There is absolutely no doubt that each member of Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club contributed something special to this project. Every day of lectures was filled with positive and bright emotions. All members were demonstrating unity and productive work of the Club that caused a great feedback from newcomers. The Club is absolutely glad that today we have a plenty of young, talented and ambitious students who have joined MUNRFE and who are willing to participate in the upcoming XI MUNRFE international conference. The Club would like to express a deep gratitude to Andrey Kozinets and Vladimir Tananykin who made a significant contribution during the task-force and conducted lectures. We would also like to thank our honorable Khabarovsk MUNRFE alumni who provided us with help in conducting lectures and trainings during the master-classes.

Asian Youth Forum 10 in Vladivostok
Friday, 16 November 2012 00:16

“Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.” These words, expressed by an English novelist Jane Howard, are fully proper to the experience that several MUNRFE members went through just a week ago. The Asian Youth Forum 10 (AYF 10), organized in Vladivostok this year, was successfully conducted on October 31 – November 6, 2012, on the territory of the new FEFU campus on the Russkiy Island.

Wednesday, 14 November 2012 10:00

A new academic year has begun, and a new historical chapter of development of Blagoveshchensk MUNRFE club has begun, too. During past two months we had changes in the leadership of the club, our great cabinet showed boost of its work, and our members participated in non-MUNRFE conference and gained a victory there. The Autumn Master-Classes were successfully held, and participants of XI International Conference made great preparation to work.

MUNRFE members at the ENGECON Olympiad
Sunday, 11 November 2012 21:12

Knowledge is not just a beautiful word for MUNRFE, but one of its key values. And our members prove it successfully participating in debates and various scientific events all over the globe. This autumn two people from our organization – Daria Fedorova and Denis Chaplinsky – participated in the International Students’ Olympiad “Management and Business” held by Saint-Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics (ENGECON) on October, 24 – 27 in the “Northern capital” of our country.

This year the Olympiad was conducted for the 24th time and gathered about 500 participants from all parts of Russia and lots of different European states, such as Germany, Belgium, France, Greece, Belorussia and others. It consisted of 17 sections, some of which were conducted in English due to the participation of many foreigners. During the Olympiad together with 5 other students of Far Eastern Federal University Denis and Daria represented a team of FEFU in 3 different sections – world economy, accounting and finance. Throughout those 3 days participants had numerous competitions according to the programs of their sections, including tests, business games, round tables, research tasks and etc. Winners of the sections met in the final round where they had to write a small research on the certain management issue.

As a result of the competition, both of our members got recognition: “winner of the section” for Denis and “the most creative team” – for Daria. The event turned out to be a very interesting and useful experience both from the professional, scientific side and for the development of teamwork and leadership skills during the group tasks, as well as a good opportunity for the establishments of new relations in the Western part of our huge country and some European neighbors.

The end of the AMC'2012 in Blagoveshchensk
Saturday, 10 November 2012 00:05

The third of November was the last day of Blagoveshchensk Autumn Master-Classes 2012. Considering this project as a highly important one for the club, there are some expected results that we have. First of all, the Coordinators team got that brilliant experience, knowledge and skills of internal project preparation, negotiations, and work in team that allows discovering personal character and the main weaknesses of each other, increasing level of accountability and professionalism. Of course, all these facts taught and developed the whole club, as everyone took part actively in the AMC during these 4 weeks.

Task Force 2012
Monday, 29 October 2012 17:25

The second week of October was special for Model United Nations of the Russian Far East due to the simple fact – Task Force 2012. Although it was conducted by the efforts of two people, still it was the first event of such kind since 2009.

This time two experienced MUNRFE members – Vladimir Tananykin and Andrey Kozinets – conducted several lectures and trainings in frames of Autumn Master Classes in Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk Clubs. The second point was the intensive communication with club members and sharing of experience. This project for sure will contribute a lot to success of the AMC in all locations and will boost the cooperation among clubs.

The start of AMC’12 in Vladivostok
Wednesday, 24 October 2012 11:48

What does the word “big” mean? It is something taking a lot of efforts and emotions. May it be the reason why we call the end of Master-Classes PR-campaign “BIG presentation”?

There were about 100 people behind the door where we wrote the motto of the Master-Classes “Imagine. Believe. Go”. They were expecting something unknown but pathetic and promising to be energetic.

Behind the wall there was the Vladivostok MUNRFE club struggling with technical problems and rehearsing their speeches. Only our alumni seemed to be quiet and unconcerned.

At 18.30 the door opened, and the crow of students and pupils (and one graduated engineer!) entered the auditorium. We did our best to inspire them by speeches about “the most ambitious organization in the region”, about Leadership and Goal-Setting, about New-York and San-Francisco. Alexander Kaidanovich, Maxim Pryazennikov, and the Vice-Councel of Japan in Vladivostok delivered their speeches from the stage. Our outstanding alumni Semen Korotich and Roman Kopko inspired not only the perspective newcomers, but even the current club members to improve their leadership and public speaking skills.

Though only 44 people visited the first lecture, as all first-year-students of FEFU were blocked on the Russkiy Island because of the bad weather, VladMUNRFE club believes that on Wednesday it will be much better!

Fall Master Classes 2012 have started in Blagoveshchensk
Sunday, 14 October 2012 12:28

The main event of this month in Blagoveshchensk club is Autumn Master-Classes which will be conducted from October 10th till November 3rd. This project will be directed on increasing level of professionalism, accountability and general development of people in the club. This time the main target audience is students from the Amur State University and the Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University. However, the vast PR-campaign was conducted for schools students as well.

During the first week of Master-Classes more than 20 participants came to listen to lectures and participate in trainings. Such number of attendants is a good result which gives hope that this Autumn BlagoMUN will receive new blood!

Moreover, it is important to mention that in frames of the MUNRFE Task Force 2012 Andrey Kozinets is contributing a lot for the realization of the project. On October 13th the Managing Director together with the President of BlagoMUNRFE Alexander Druzhinin conducted a lecture on Leadership on a very professional and impressive level.

As a result of hard work of the whole club there are several people who already want to be involved in MUNRFE activities. Blagoveshchensk MUNRFE Club is ready to do its best to keep this desire and develop these newcomers and create the bright future together with them.

The new President of Blagoveshchensk MUNRFE Club
Friday, 12 October 2012 18:47

Alexander Druzhinin was elected to perform the Leader’s duties of the Blagoveshchensk Club. The vice-president of the Club is Alexandra Gritsenko.

Alexander already has a long career in the Model United Nations of the Russian Far East, joining the BlagoMUN Club after the Fall Master Classes of 2010. Later that year Alexander represented Russian Federation in the UN SC during the 9th International Conference in Vladivostok. Alexander was one of the strongest delegates in the committee and definitely the best delegate among newcomers.

After such a great start Alexander fulfilled all his obligations as the member of Blagoveshchensk MUNRFE Club and then became the Vice-President under the leadership of Vitaliy Savenkov.

Now Alexander is more than ready to give the boost for development of the Club and its members, achieving audacious results and creating sustainable future for the organization.
