Managing Directors' Team

MD Team represents one of the elements of the MUNRFE structure that stands aside of the clubs. With so many different projects organized by MUNRFE clubs across the region, MD Team tries the clubs to be linked with each other by fostering their interaction and communication.

Other responsibilities of the MD Team include coordination of interclub projects and support for such projects to be implemented on time with necessary resources. Along with projects conducted for several clubs, MD Team monitors internal work of clubs working mostly with Cabinet members.
Exclusive rights on management of Development Fund, preparation of tax and accounting reports, and management of bank account also belong to MD Team.

MD Team constitutes a united managerial body, the parties to which has equal rights and management opportunities.

Daria Bulatova

Managing director

Daria Bulatova has been an active member of the Model United Nations of the Russian Far East since 2007, after her graduation from Vladivostok Club MUN School. Having been only 2 month in the organization Daria was granted an exclusive opportunity – to serve as an adviser during one of the most successful projects of MUNRFE – English summer camp for high-school students “Firestarter”.

Next year she became a regional coordinator for recruiting participants for this project, and in 2009 Daria coordinated “Firestarter” and with her team organized and conducted this event. Daria has participated in two MUNRFE International Conferences in 2007 and 2008. Having represented Unites States of America in General Assembly during the VII International MUNRFE Conference, Daria became one of the best delegates and was granted credentials to represent the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at 59th MUNFW International Session in San-Francisco.

Next year in April 2010 Daria was in the team of MUNRFE for the Beijing Model UN International Conference. Besides being a delegate Daria has organized the work of one of the most important committee at VIII International MUNRFE Conference – General Assembly. In 2010 she became the Secretary-General of the APEC Youth Summit, which was for the moment a unique experience for MUNRFE. Daria with her team conducted the summit on a high level and made the delegates feel the atmosphere of fruitful debates and mutual cooperation. During the XVII Presidents Council Daria Bulatova was nominated and successfully adopted as a member of Managing Director's Team for MUNRFE.

 

Igor Novikov

Managing director

 

Igor has been in the Model United Nations since 2006. Having graduated MUN School cum laude he was selected to represent Russia on the Youth European Parliament Forum in Münster, Germany, and that was actually his first international debating experience. Since then he participated in numerous regional MUN conferences, two Model G8 Summits and 59th MUNFW Session, where he debated in the Second Committee. In the MUNRFE Igor tried himself not only in debating but also in chairing committees – he was WIPO chairperson at the IV IT Conference and World Bank chairperson at the VIII MUNRFE Conference, thus having experienced working out the concepts of virtually new committees for the MUNRFE.

During April 2010 Igor served as an advisor for MUNRFE San-Francisco Delegation to 60th Session of MUNFW, showing great accountability and strong committment to his team's development. At the moment Igor concentrates his activities in the MUN on sharing experience, advising and reading lectures to newcomers.

Besides MUN Igor has numerous hobbies but most of the time he devotes to the Brazilian martial art capoeira. He is also interested in Oriental culture and languages (Japanese and Korean) and learns Japanese calligraphy.

 


Vladislav Sklyanov

Managing director

Vladislav became a member of the MUNRFE in Spring 2008 after graduation from the Master-classes organized by Vladivostok MUNRFE club. Having represented Turkey at the final debate conference after the Master-classes, Vladislav was selected as one of the best delegates showing professionalism and deep knowledge with great potential for future development. Being a part of the delegation from his club to the III IT MUNRFE Conference held in May 2008 in the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Vladislav received Best Delegate award which granted him an opportunity to participate in a Chinese International MUN Conference.

Serving as a vice-president of Vladivostok MUNRFE club helped him gain necessary skills and knowledge and foster his professional and personal development.

At the VII International MUNRFE Conference, being a US delegate at the First Committee, Vladislav got into top 7 delegates of the conference who were then granted credentials to represent the United Kingdom delegation at the 59th MUNFW Session.

At the conference in San Francisco Vladislav was selected as a Rapporteur of the committee, showing his great professionalism in SC issues. A year later, in 2010 Vladislav chaired the Security Council during the 60th MUNFW Session in San-Francisco, that became an important milestone of his development..

Vladislav served as an Assistant managing director since May 2009 till June 2010. For this period of time he has already demonstrated great passion and commitment. In 2010 by the decision of XVII MUNRFE Presidents Council he was adopted as an MD Team Member, and became one of three MUNRFE MDs.
