Vladivostok Photo Exhibition 2009Dates: Autumn 2009 Theme: intolerant attitude of people towards representatives of other races. Goal: To show the audience that there is no reasons for such attitude and to change their opinion towards the issue. Target audience: students of Vladivostok Universities, of 10-11 grades of Vladivostok schools, teachers of Vladivostok schools and Universities.
By this project we want: - To explain people what terrible consequences intolerance can lead to (discrimination of people of different races Apartheid, anti-Semitism and so on) - To promote understanding that people who are intolerant to other races today are easy to be involved into such kinds of conflicts - To show people how many things exist that unite all of us.
Expected results: Quantity indicator – 50-70 people on presentation 500 people to watch the photos Quality indicator – people will leave the exhibition with some changes in their mind about their position towards the racionately discriminated people

The exhibition will be conducted by 3 steps traditionally: 1. The presentation with the speech of the coordinator of the project and photographers, movie on the topic will open the exhibition 2. After it everybody who wishes will come to enjoy the photos. 3. Closing ceremony will also contain the speech of conductors of the project. In addition it will spread information about organizations within the Vladivostok which struggle with the racionate discriminate. * As the significant point, it is planned to invite some of the representatives of such organizations. |
