The V Regional MUNRFE Conference has brought together young leaders and future diplomats from Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk, and Vladivostok on 30, April – 03, May, 2014. This time the Conference was hosted by Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club under the leadership of Ms. Elena Kiseleva on the base of one of the biggest universities on the Russian Far East – the Pacific National University. The concept of the Conference "Untwining the tangle of regional problems: Eastern Europe in focus" was built around the European region giving an opportunity to the Far Eastern students to look deeper into the latest developments of one of the hottest territory in the world nowadays.
MUNRFE is deeply happy to announce the results of the V RC Grant Competition. After careful evaluation of submitted Policy Papers 4 delegates became winners of the Competition: Vladislav Ulanov, OSCE, Russia, Khabarovsk; Alexander Ivanov, OSCE, Czech Republic, Vladivostok; Nadezhda Shish, UNESCO, Czech Republic, Vladivostok; Artem Puzikov, OSCE, Germany, Blagoveshchensk. They submitted the best Policy Papers according to the deadline, thus their registration payments will be waived by the Secretariat. We would like to congratulate our winners and wish them good luck and every success!

As a result of the call for Chairs of the V Regional Conference, there were 8 applications submitted. Consequently, the Secretary-General and her Deputy did their best to select the most competent applicants. Welcome UNESCO Chairs: Ms. Marina Rashchepkina (Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok), Mr. Alexander Yugay (Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok) and Ms. Kaitlyn Peng (Northeast Agriculture University, Harbin, China). And the following officers were appointed as OSCE Chairs: Ms. Olga Katina (Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok) and Mr. Lavrentiy Pak (Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service, Vladivostok). We would like to congratulate all Chairs with their significant achievement and wish them good luck and the best Committees ever. See you in Khabarovsk this May!
The spring of the year 2014 goes on and the time has come to start preparation to one of the most crucial events of the semester – the V Regional MUNRFE Conference, which will be held in the city of Khabarovsk on April, 30 – May, 3. MUNRFE is ready to announce those brave ladies, who will be in charge of the Conference together with its Coordinator, the President of Khabarovsk MUNRFE Club and the Under-Secretary-General for Conference Management Ms. Elena Kiseleva.
The IV Regional Conference "Taming the waves of Asia Pacific: Curbing Disasters, Catching the Opportunities" was held in the business incubator of the Pacific National University from 1st till 4th of May, 2013.
