22nd MUNRFE Annual Conference 2023
Model United Nations of the Russian Far East jointly with Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) is delighted to announce the 22nd MUNRFE Annual Conference 2023 (AC 2023) to be held at the FEFU Campus (Vladivostok, Russia) on December 1-5 in a hybrid format. The registration process both for delegations and single participants will be available on the Registration page from July 1.
AC 2023 is a simulation of the work of the United Nations and other international institutions where every participant tries on the role of a real diplomat representing the interests of a chosen state in the discussion of global issues. All information about the simulated committees and agenda items will be available on the Committees and Agenda page along with the countries available to apply for on the Country/Committee Matrix page.
The program of the conference includes an educational component as well: participants have a chance to attend lectures delivered by experts of national and international levels. In the previous years, the conference was visited by representatives of different UN agencies and international organizations, distinguished scholars, and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
The official language of the Conference is English.
According to the results of the Conference, the recipients of the “Outstanding Delegate” award will be credentialed to take part in the MUNRFE Leadership Program that includes participation in foreign MUN Conference as well as visits to the various diplomatic and educational institutions in Russia and abroad. Due to the unstable global situation, participation in the Conference may be postponed. More detailed information about the Leadership Program will be announced later.
